Myikona x Antigro Designer: Turning Travel Memories into Sales
about myikona
Myikona is a Greek company within the Digital Publication Group, the Balkans’ largest producer of personalized photographic and print products. Its purpose is to help people celebrate, share, and preserve their most meaningful memories. By creating premium personalized products such as photobooks, enhanced with techniques including embossing, spot UV, and full UV finishing, Myikona aims to bring people closer through the moments that matter most.
The company has produced hundreds of thousands of photobooks for both amateur and professional photographers, drawing on 40 years of experience in the printing industry and consistently placing customer satisfaction at the heart of its operations. Myikona holds a leading position in Greece’s personalized products market, with an estimated 90-95% coverage of this niche. Supported by the Group’s recent investments in Central Europe, the company is further strengthening its presence and pursuing its ambition to become one of the leading players in the European personalized print market.

Travel Photo Books - A New Market That Quickly Became a Success
Myikona has been collaborating with Antigro Designer since July 2025. Building on the success of the personalized products launched through this partnership, Myikona decided to take the next step and create an even more compelling offering. The team developed more than 1800 travel photobook templates tailored to specific countries and regions, with each design available in 19 different variants. Altogether, this resulted in approximately 34,000 possible photobook variants implemented in the Antigro Designer Photobook Builder. The new product line launched in June 2026, giving Myikona a powerful way to expand its portfolio and meet growing customer interest in personalized travel memories.
On the Myikona website, the travel photobook collection is organized into categories such as International Destinations and Greek Destinations, making it easy for customers to find a design that matches their trip. Combined with Myikona’s promotional strategy, this destination-based approach works particularly well with software that enables users to create a complete photobook quickly and intuitively, while their travel memories are still fresh. This creates a strong link between the moment of returning from a trip and the purchase decision, helping Myikona turn recent travel experiences into personalized products with minimal delay.

The new travel photobook line quickly proved to be a major success, generating strong customer interest and gaining popularity shortly after launch. According to data from the end of June, around 80% of projects were created on mobile devices, showing how important a smooth mobile experience was for this product. The Auto Arrange feature also played a key role in the user journey, being used in more than 60% of accepted projects overall and in nearly 70% of accepted mobile projects. It also helped customers complete their photobooks faster: while the average project takes around 79 minutes to finish, using Auto Arrange reduces the creation time by approximately 17 minutes.

The Myikona and Antigro Designer Story
Myikona was growing fast and needed a personalization tool that could keep up. The team wanted to launch new products more quickly, reduce manual work, and open up new business opportunities without making the process more complex. After discovering Antigro Designer at FESPA in May 2025, the two companies quickly started exploring how they could work together. By July, the decision was made, and the integration began.
The rollout was smooth and straightforward. Thanks to the API integration, clear documentation, and fast support from a dedicated Antigro Designer account manager, Myikona was able to launch its first personalized product in early October, just before the busiest sales period of the year. The offer started with personalized magnets and soon expanded to new products, including custom socks with cut-out faces, which quickly became one of the season’s bestsellers. The timing also meant the software was tested under real pressure from day one. During peak season, Antigro Designer handled several hundred orders per day and generated all production files within the expected timeframe, without errors.

Right away, it became a major stress test for the system, because the peak season started immediately after the rollout. Even under heavy traffic and a high volume of orders, everything ran smoothly and reliably. During the high season, 100% of the files were generated within the expected timeframe, with no errors, and the tool performed exceptionally well when it mattered most.
Implementing Antigro Designer gave Myikona the flexibility to move beyond its core range of mugs, storybooks, and magnets and quickly introduce entirely new product categories. These included Christmas ornaments with cut-out faces, custom socks, personalized pillows, calendarium and body cutout lamps, as well as a wider range of custom-shape and AI-powered products. Antigro’s AI features and custom templates also made it possible to refresh existing products and turn them into new collections, supported by marketing creatives that stood out from Myikona’s usual communication. As a result, the new offering attracted a different customer segment, including people making their first-ever purchase from the store. This translated directly into customer growth and additional revenue, with the new products accounting for 6% of total sales, while also strengthening brand visibility among new audiences.
We’re happy that implementing Antigro Designer has delivered such fast, tangible results - sales are growing, and our team has far less manual work because print-ready files go straight into production. What excites us most is that we’re working with Antigro in a truly dynamic way and are already planning further rollouts to make even better use of the tool’s full potential and keep expanding our offering at the pace the market expects.
